“As soon as we walk in Puro 4050 we become part of the show. An appreciation of art and culture, an ode to the theater, through a gastronomic experience that takes us on a journey. That’s how it is in this amazing restaurant from Porto. As it happens when we go to the theater to watch a play, we’re accompanied to our place with sympathy and attention – the show ends with a deserved applause, and it all begins at this moment. The decoration leads us to other times, back to the past, and reminds us how culturally rich our country is. There’s no pretension or desire to hide anything behind the curtain – here, everything is pure and transparent, with clear pride for the city where we’re at (it’s not by chance that the name includes the place’s post code!).”
Surrounded by ancient books and beetles, the face of Puro 4050 – no matter how strange it may sound! – we feel quiet and welcome. In the end, the confirmation that all the applause are deserved, as was intended from the very first minute. If you’re a fan of Italian cuisine, you can’t miss Puro!
